THE DECORATION OF A STYLISH and glamorous penthouse apartment in New York City’s Sutton Place neighborhood for a client who specifically requested rooms that were light and feminine. The dining room features a dramatically scaled wallpaper, whose pink tones are carried over to the living room, where they provide a soft contrast to the rich oak paneling. The walls and ceiling of the equally dramatic master bedroom are covered in a cotton chintz fabric that provides a leafy backdrop for a lofty canopy bed. The bedroom is surrounded by terraces accessed through a newly designed paneled and wallpapered suite of dressing rooms.
